What does this mean for you?

Direct pay means simple transparent pricing with no surprise bills, insurance authorizations, approvals, or limitations. Direct Pay options include:

  • Cash/Check

  • Credit Card / Debit Card

  • HSA or FSA Funds (*Chiropractic care is typically an eligible healthcare expense. You may use your HSA or FSA funds for your visits, and we'll gladly provide any receipts you may need)

Can I request a Superbill?

Yes. A Superbill is an itemized receipt provided by the office after you receive and pay for care. It includes the diagnosis and treatment codes your insurance company needs to review the claim. You submit the Superbill directly to your insurer, and depending on your out-of-network benefits and deductible, the insurer may reimburse you for a portion of the cost. Payment is not guaranteed and is determined by your specific insurance plan.

For more than 65 years, our family has had the privilege of serving this community. Through changing healthcare systems, growing families, and life's many seasons, our purpose has remained the same: to strengthen whole-person wellness so individuals and families can live fully, serve generously, and flourish in their God-given purpose. Many of you have been with our practice for decades, and some of you have entrusted us with the care of multiple generations. That is a responsibility we have never taken lightly. Because of that trust, we believe you deserve open and honest communication about an important change.

Beginning October 1, 2026, Spieles Chiropractic Clinic will transition to a direct-pay (cash) practice and will no longer bill insurance for chiropractic services.

This decision was made thoughtfully and with the long-term health of our practice, and your care, in mind. While we understand that any change can raise questions, we believe this transition allows us to continue providing the quality, accessibility, and personal care our patients have come to expect.

Why are we making this change?

Simply put, the healthcare reimbursement system has changed dramatically over the years. Increasing administrative requirements, declining reimbursements, and growing involvement from insurance companies have made it increasingly difficult for independent practices like ours to operate within that system while maintaining the level of care patients deserve. Rather than allowing those challenges to dictate how we care for our patients, we have chosen a model that allows us to focus our time and resources where they belong, on you.

Loyalty / Acute Care Rate

Family Rate

As part of this transition, we’re introducing flexible care packages that offer individuals and families greater convenience and value. The care you know and trust will remain the same, with new options designed to make ongoing wellness easier to prioritize.

**Extra visits beyond your plan: $40 each. E-stim included for all adult members. Memberships are billed monthly on autopay. You can cancel anytime, but only once a year — no long-term contract, no penalty.

Wellness Plan Perks

• Ultrasound or Laser: $5/session

• 10% off all supplements

Whether you're staying consistent with your care over time or working through an acute issue that needs frequent visits, once you reach 12 visits within a 12-month period, your rate drops to $40 per visit for the rest of the calendar year.

Families of 5 or more visiting together (same visit or same week): $200 total. E-stim included for adults. Ultrasound/Laser +$10/person. Payment due in advance if a family member is scheduled later in the week.

Standard Individual Rates

Prefer to visit as needed or follow your doctor’s recommended care protocol? Individual adjustments will continue to be available with no care package or ongoing commitment required. Simply schedule your visits and pay the standard individual rate at the time of care.
